Fire Stones
2024 16x8" (includes black wood frame, 18x10") The accompanying poem by Becky Hemsley (with permission) stirred up thoughts about how women are treated and often underestimated. It is deeply troubling that women’s rights are eroding all over the world. How do we take back what is rightfully ours? It takes a long time for a stone to catch fire, but I believe that once it does, it will remember its history and burn hot for a thousand years.
