2023 16x16" (includes black wood frame, 18x18") Ailanthus altissima is the Latin name for the Tree of Heaven, a beautiful but extremely invasive tree. It was introduced from China to the USA in the late 1700's, and has since become established in many locations, displacing native species in the USA and Canada. It is one of the fastest growing trees in the world, and is able to distribute seeds widely as well as propagating vegetatively. And it is resistant to soil and air pollution.
